Eating at this place is an experience into what monks eat and into typical food of Nikko. It's completely vegan but I liked it, probably I won't have it every day. I recommend the bigger menu.

It's a nice small place where you can try ramen with local specialty – yuba (tofu skin). Their menu is quite diverse. Very nice.

The daily set is diclicious : so many tastes and flavours. A family restaurant by a young chef. The Yuba roll (beef maki) with their homemade wasabi is incredible

Lovely French/Japanese fusion food in a house built for an American businessman. Inside is decked out like an English country house, there's even a phone box (woodland hen is a mushroom not chicken)
